First off, Congratulations! You have already made the most important decision in your life. There is much you
have to do and there is probably a lot of stress involved. If you choose David Gunter Photography for your
big event you can be assured that you have hired a professional who only has your best interests in mind.
I will meet with you at your earliest convenience to go over your wedding preparations and get a feel for
your style and sensibilities. We will discuss such matters as times and locations and begin to build a list of
important photo ideas - subjects and people, artistic styles, etc. This is the time we will create a custom
plan unique to you. The Package and Pricing information found on previous pages is merely a guide
at this stage. Some ceremonies may be shorter and require less work, some may be longer or you may wish to
have photos taken in a third location away from the main ceremony and reception venue. I will leave you with a "shot list" -
a document to provide you with an outline to guide your vision in this area. Meanwhile I will visit your weding and reception
locations for preparation of my own.
Before ending the consultation we will set up another time for an engagement
shooting session. The engagement session provides a chance for you to see me at work without the pressure of "the big day"
and the frenetic activity it brings getting in the way. It allows you to build trust in my abilities and put you at east that
you have hired a capable and artistic photographer. The photos taken during this session will be part of the final
collection plus you will choose one photo for an 8x10" print.
It may sound like a lot but the initial consultation and subsequent engagement shoot take care of most of the photo
preparation on your end. We can meet as often as you feel necessary but most of the time I do not see the couple again
until the day of the wedding rehearsal. Any last minute ideas, changes and plans can be discussed and finalized there.
